Customer Service Tips

The other day I wrote about Customer Service and the fact that its pretty bad in many areas.
Today I want to give you some tips so you can give your customers better service whether they are new or existing.

 

You need to learn how to:-

  • communicate with all types of people
  • ensure your attitude is the right one
  • feel confident in yourself so you are confident with customers
  • ensure that you have the correct body language
  • get along with management and your peers
  • present yourself in the appropriate way for the job
  • use correct language
  • put yourself in the customers shoes
  • listen to the customer
  • deal with difficult people
  • develop skills that you didn’t have previously
  • make yourself more employable in a customer service role
  • get yourself promoted
  • love what you are doing

All jobs have an aspect of customer service so its very important to ensure we are well equipped to do this.
